Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this press. Those submissions considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the scope and outline of the book are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the book. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another press for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

By submitting a manuscript to Warta Saya, authors agree to the following terms:

1. Ownership and Licensing:
    - Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights to their work.
    - Authors grant Warta Saya the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY) that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in Warta Saya.

2. Author Responsibilities:
    - Authors confirm that their submission is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
    - Authors are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted material included in their manuscript.

3. Permissions and Reuse:
    - Authors agree to allow their work to be distributed as open access, permitting unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
    - Authors retain the right to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in Warta Saya.

4. Rights of the Press:
    - Warta Saya reserves the right to make editorial changes to the manuscript as part of the review and production process.
    - Warta Saya will provide authors with proofs for review prior to publication and will not publish the manuscript until the authors have approved the final version.

5. Plagiarism and Misconduct: Warta Saya has a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism and academic misconduct. Any detected cases will be handled in accordance with our ethical guidelines, and submissions found to violate these guidelines will be rejected.

By agreeing to this copyright notice, authors affirm that they have read and understood these terms and agree to comply with them. Authors also confirm that they are authorized to enter into this agreement and that the submission does not infringe any existing copyright.
